Naaru Champion chain - 28 quest chain

To kick it all off go to Wildhammer in Shadow Moon Valley and see Earthmender Sophurus.   He will give you the first quest


The Cipher of Damnation is an extremely long quest line in Shadowmoon Valley.

At this point, the quests diverge into three separate lines (which can be done in any order) for each of Oronok's three sons who will in turn help you obtain the three Fragments of Damnation.

After completing the quests for the three Fragments of Damnation, the lines converge and you need to kill one last boss.

After completing the quest, you will get a message in the mail from Khadgar.   If you go to Shattrath, he will tell you to talk to A'Dal, who unlocks the the three Trials.   Which Will Lead to killing Magtheridon for "Champion of the Naaru"

Maybe an idea to make a list here of who wants to get this done before Wrath? I'm in the final stages with the heroic runs (and eventually Mag), and am willing to help anyone on getting through the pre-chain to get those heroics done :)

It's worth stating once you've hit level 71, this title is no longer available for you! So it's kind of now or never ^^

I believe Xaal and Xak just need Maggy now

Zent need "Trial of the Naaru: Tenacity" thats in Arcatraz, gotta rescue Millhouse Manastorm. 

I think Rim has the 3 heroics to do also.

Another part of obtaining the title is the 2 part quest line found below:

Skar'this can be found in the Slave Pens (heroic only), after the first boss.

Which requires killing Nightbane and Gruul. Only after doing both of these chains will you get the title...although I'm not sure if you have to kill Nightbane and Gruul before you're able to do the Magtheridon trial; can anyone confirm this?

If my feeble memory serves me correctly (and it rarely does) you can do these in any order.  I did heroic SP with a couple of people who had already done the Maggie part and they had to relog to get the title.

If anyone wants to go and clear the first part of Slave Pens later tonight or early tomorrow evening (before Gruul) please let me know, the quest giver is right after the first boss, so it's pretty easy access  ;D

Terean needs only Maggy now, and he wants it badly!
Does anyone know for sure when Blizz will make the title unobtainable? With reaching level 71, with the WotLK expansion, or (worse case scenario) with the next patch, whi, I think is due in a couple of weeks. . .
How far away are the rest of you guys? Could we possibly down Maggy soon enough?

weird I already did this ages ago and never received a title...how wude!

That's really weird? Are you sure you've done all of it? The Slave Pens quest? If you've done all of it, you should have the title.  Everyone, who were already doing Mt Hijal at the release of patch 2. 3 got the title "Hand of A'dal", so you should have this title even if you've done the quests at the time, when the raids still required attunement.

I am totally certain I have completed this quest on both my chars and receive no title on either. I will need to check again today.

Hey folks, not sure which thread to post in, but I play a rogue and need a gruul and maggy run to complete this quest chain.

I'm a member of <Argent Dawn Exiles> and was pointed in your direction for 25 man content.

I'm usually on Mcquinnen or Mcholly in game, and would love a spot on the next gruul and maggy runs (and will pass on all loot if this gets me a spot soon!)

I recon a lot of people are close to getting the title, so a Gruul/Maggy run this week would be very nice.  Let's not wait for the patch to come out, because the title might become unavailable.

I'm not really bothered about the title, but will help out on any char :)
