Title: full patch avaible for eu-servers Post by: ddruid on October 08, 2008, 03:48:31 PM seems that the full 1.5 gig patch have been released for the EU-realms now aswell.
anyway if your havign some problems download the patch with the background downloader, note that you can just open: World of Warcraft\cache\BackgroundDownload.torrent and just open it with your normal .torrent program and download it that way instead. also for additional mirrors you can check http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors **edit** also note patch is planned to go live next week being the 15th okt for eu-realms and 14th okt for us-realms note that addon sites will be heavly loaded at this time so using for example wowaceupdater from wowace.com or wowmatrix from wowmatrix.com for updating addons is recomended. Personaly I perfer wowace seing as most addon developers update their addons there first. also it seems to be working alot faster then wowmatrix does. The third part of the patch (~70 meg) persisted in downloading incorrectly for me via the blizzard downloader. So it recognised it was corrupt - and permanently stayed at 99%. If it's to be believed, apparently this part of the patch via Blizzard HTTP Direct Download is seeding data intended for MACs instead of PCs. Title: Re: full patch avaible for eu-servers Post by: Delindir on October 13, 2008, 09:21:26 AM I just leave the background downloader on over night, and got to 55% first night altho i did turn it off halfway through the night, and yesterday left it on and it got to 92%, after turning if off at half too cause the screen was keeping me up.

It keeps telling me its available next time i log off WoW. but then never starts downloading til i actually try to turn of my pc then it throws a wobbly and quits and my pc turns off.
