Hey guys I just broke my leg 1 week ago  ::)
so I was thinking if any of you have broken anything, and if so then how
I broke mine in football (rather stupidly I must add)
 ???

I did soming stupider then that, I was at scouts and I was chassing a girl (I ended up having a relationship with her after, but not the one im with now) doing what was called a wide game.  Basically an outside game for running around, I chased her and then tripped on a man hole over and fractured my femur and was off scouts and school for 6 weeks

I broke my nose playing ice hockey a while back, I used to play center (now keeper) and I was skating down the side of the rink with the puc, a guy came over and body checked me over the sideboards to smash my face on the concrete. ><

I detached the ligaments in my ankle playing tennis, put me out of sports for almost 5 years :(

Boooooo, soz to hear that mate. Hope it's not too bad a break and that you will be up and about again soon.

I've been lucky enough never to break anything despite many mishaps and consequent x-rays. My body is pretty tough, cracked a knuckle once though but it stopped being painful after a few days.

Yeouch! I have not *touches wood of some poor passer by* had any breaks in my bones etc thankfully...You poor peeps x

I cannot help but think that if Wu touched my wood as I passed her by it would likely cause an accident!

I broke my Fifth Metacarparal on my right hand in a fight. My hand swelled horribly but I didnt really have time to get myself to a doctor... Eventually I did go and had an Ex Ray only to reveal that the bone was broken and had allready settled in a rather awkward position.
I was adviced to either just leave it as it was, or go see someone about setting it straight again.
Since the pinky finger realld didnt bother me much I skipped getting an apointment for re-setting the bone.
I dont suffer any abnormal pains in the hand unless from time to time after writing for a while.

Scars and such wondrous occurences add a little excitement to life and are a good opener for a story!

Well my little angel, it all started once upon a time down a dodgy lane and there were twenty guys no less and lil ol me with an umbrella...

Where to start?

Okay.    I am a footballer.   

At the age of well 12 I had my ever first serious injury.    Dislocated knee cap and at that time a ((heavily strained kneeligament)).   

Put me out for a year.    Then had a lot of recurring incidents with the lovely knee cap.    Eventually the knee seemed fine and all was well untill the age of 17.    Same diagnosis.    A new heavy strain.    Another year out.   

Then came the lovely day on exercise mission in fire fighting department.   
I had the worst dislocation of the knee cap to date.    It was so bad I didnt event dare knocking it back to place myself.    Which i have always done earlier.   

It turns out.    That the lovely knee ligament.    Has been missing for now 9 years.    Got it reconstructed a month ago and currently I am learning to walk again.    FUN! NOT! Anyway thats just a few of the things.    To be true I have never been lucky when it comes to physical injuries.

I for one have never even broken a bone in my body before or seriously hurt myself for that matter.

I got a black-eye from a duche, didn't even get vision imparement.

Guess I'm lucky.
