never underestimate the power of the pally tank/priest relationship.
 Cool

I like to think that evil Corley taking down the Harpo somewhat makes up for the "frost trap the mind controlled priest" antics in Zul Aman.

IE is like a slow donkey compared to other browsers these days.

and also time for me to rave once more about Google Chrome. I've been using this browser for a long time now. Tis lovely. If you haven't seen it before, given the above news about IE - maybe it's time for you to check it out.

5  Guilds / Twilight Rising / Do you want... on: December 01, 2008, 09:35:21 AM
Corly got the achievement "Northrend DungeonMaster" last night after finally getting a blast through the last of current crop of new instances - Caverns of Time: Stratholme.

With Mister Shifters on tanking duties (who did a great job!) along with Mister Fisty, Ribble and a PUG member - it was a great dander through the new instance. They've done a great job with it - and it's great fun trotting through a very different looking Strat.

As the instance progresses, the populace starts to change and the environment in the instance around you starts to decay and burn. Very well done indeed. Great fun.

Also one of the best NPC interactions around. Click on Arthas as you are running around with him and he interacts with you along the lines of "Do you want to be culled?"

Lovely.

Yes, I concur.

I want to pick up on want Rimbert said - for the first time in a while, I found it very hard to log out - and just wanted to keep on exploring. The solo quests are indeed alot of fun, and I'm glad we picked the Fjords to start off in. The scenery and is just stunning - and Utgarde Keep was a hoot (although I need to go back - cause I have the quests for it now).

Funniest quest so far - riding the harpoon back to the alliance camp from the top of Niffville. It really did make me laugh out loud.

Huzzah!

well this made me laugh, and I'm sure all the other boyo's from the guild who hail from Northern Ireland and Scotland will find it just as amusing.

I recommend you give the number a call and give it a listen.

You couldn't make this crap up...

10  World of Warcraft / Mods and Addons / Re: Healing Addons/UI on: October 24, 2008, 10:38:55 AM
Quite simply you only really need one addon to give you a complete view of what is going on in a large party/raid.  It's called Grid.

It tells the healer who has aggro at any given moment - allowing you to prioritise your heals - it informs you of things that need to be cured/dispelled - you can have custom layouts to you can view the party arrangements in the way that you want to. And well. I just think it rocks.
