I still chuckle if I ever take an alt through, or boost a guildie when Smite goes back to his chest for a bigger weapon, genius Smiley

I can still remember how pissed I got when that happened on my first run.

"WTF!? What's this?!"

One thing remains tho, it's bloody good fun!

I agree! Blizzard incorporating this element into WoW was a smart move seeing as it adds to the longevity of the game.  It also adds more spice to the regular PvP as it feels more personal in some way. It's your team vs the other. Heads on!

The rewards aren't that aweful either.

The occasional winning is probably because your gear lacks resilience. In order to get over say 1500 rating, you'll need to either manage a great team tactic that will blow the other team away or simply get some resilience gear (preferablly Halaa) or gems.

As for tactics I might have some advice:

The step between 2vs2 and 3vs3 is a big one. It is also a very good way to prepare for 5vs5 which is the most difficult one of the three. So don't be discouraged if the first week sucks - you will get better.

With your current line-up I think you could be destined for success. You have great DPS and a "true" healing class.

I would suggest putting the rogue on clothie/healer-killing duty. Stealth immediately from the start and try to get in as close as possible, focus your DPS on the healer(s). Once this is done there should be no problem playing with the remaining classes, regardeless of their gear.

Warlock should time fear when needed, even if they immediately pop their trinkets or CoF this could save you alot of healing trouble.

Your priest needs to be looked out for seeing as if he/she dies too early in the fight, you're probably going to lose. Your rogue can be a real lifesaver with kick, blind etc. and of course warlock fearing - watch out for diminishing returns though.

It is essential to to be able to control at least one of the other teams members while nuking another. After all it's quite logical that 3vs2 or 3vs1 will give you a quick and painless win.

Hope this helps

This would be my first post so, hi everyone!

My favourite roleplay moment would be when I was venturing through Duskwood. As me and my friend stopped for recuperating in Darkshire we were suddenly prompted with an emote similar to:
[name] approaches [me] and [friend] with determined steps.
This soon followed:

"Haha fear me mortals! For this is your time of  reckoning!"

We were both partly afk so we didn't notice the character that had approached us:

"Fear me! For I am the great and powerful wizard [name] that has come to destroy this world and all of you!"

We couldn't control our curiousity any longer so we turned to face this supposed demonical adversary. To our astonishment the so called "great and powerful  wizard" was nothing less than a gnome and a gnome rogue at that. Trying to contain my urge to burst into laughter I asked the gnome:

"And why should we be afraid of you, gnome?"

[pause]

"Do not let this physical shape fool you mortals. I was in fact forced to leave my previous form of existence to contain my consiousness and achieve even greater power. Now, having completed this I decided to once again take upon physical form and do my evil deeds!" *mocking laughter*

"How do know that you are not just in fact another visitor of the towns inn with a drunken haze clouding your judgement gnome?"

[long pause]

"FOOLS! I shall leave you know, but I will return and when I do all that you know will be lost" *evil laughter*

After this statement the gnome rogue quite professionally used vanish as if it was in his power to disappear at will.

I miss that encounter and I miss that gnome.
