Actually (so far at least) the whole Alliance = Order comparison doesn't seem to match up.

People flocked to Alliance in WoW because as a general rule they wanted to play a Human/pretty race... when WoW launched that meant Alliance (giving Horde Blood Elves in TBC was Blizzard trying to address that).

In WAR, both sides have a Human race (Empire and Chaos), both have an Elven race (High Elves and Dark Elves) and both have an "odd-ball" humour race (Dwarfs and Greenskins).

So far at least, they seem to be fairly well balanced in terms of population, although Destruction seems to be slightly higher on most servers.

As for joining my server - go for it.  When I've logged in recently it's shown as Medium population on Order and High on Destruction (so not Full with queues on either side).

I would say though that they will no doubt be raising the population caps gradually over time - they have started with them quite low to try and spread people out (stop some servers being over-populated while others are ghost-towns).

If you do roll Order on ABP, add Antheus to your friends list

This was the game I've been waiting on for a loooong time, and had the Collector's Edition pre-ordered since the day it was available.

I've been playing WAR all week (head-start program for pre-order customers ftw!) and so far I am absolutely loving it - it's still early days but so far it's everything I hoped for and lots more.
