I got the boat from stormwind and was very xcited through antispation. I have never seen so many people on a boat before lol and we were all in the spirit of things. Buffs were coming from the druids left right and center and people who didn't know each other were chatting

The quests were ridiculously bogged down and it was impossible to complete most of them.

HOWEVER! I had a cunning plan. One of the first quests is to kill some flamey dragon type things outside of the keep. There was a CONSTANT stream of them falling from the sky and most people looted so I was able to skin for the new type of leather for well over an hour.

This gave me more than enough materials to go from leatherworking: 350 to past 375 and my skinning to 400 and summit! Imagine my delight at not having to grind BC rep to buy certain recipies (as I've only just hit 70)!!! :-D

PLUS as I have not long turned 70 and done no instances my gear is shite BUT now I can MAKE better stuff than I came over with, not to mention drops! :-D

By the time I had done all this quests had calmed down and I was free to get some XP.

The moral of this tale? Every cloud has a silver lining ;-)
