Off Topic / Off Topic Chat / Recent Scam - Beware

Last minute shopping? Then beware !!
I recently became a victim of this very clever scam myself. PLEASE don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends.
Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the boot. They both start cleaning your windscreen with a spray and a cloth, almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is impossible not to look.
When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say "No" and instead ask you for a ride to the next retail park. You agree and they get in the backseat.
On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen November 4th, 8th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th, & 24th, 29th. Also December 1st, 4th, 5th twice on the 8th, 11th, 13th, 16th, 20th, three times yesterday and very likely again this afternoon.. So please be very careful indeed!!!

Hmm - if that is the case then I will be pretty disappointed.
Having both a druid and a paladin I was really hoping that I would be able to off-tank through half a 10-man then revert to healing (perhaps) where just one tank is needed - for example.
I agree with Daal - if they have not gone some way towards this then I feel it will be a bit of a waste.

I do hope this is not restricted to towns.
How many times has Xak - for example - been 1 of 2 tanks through Kara and then ended up healing on Prince because it is a single tank fight?
I agree you should not be able to change mid-fight but part way through an instance - definitely.

World of Warcraft / Class Discussion / Re: Resto Shaman Help in Heroics...

Do not just blame yourself here. A lot of tanks leap into heroics without being geared so that can make it a real struggle to keep them alive for any healer. They ideally need to be crit immune and have a good health pool - I would say 24k+ - though some heroics are more forgiving than others. Druids have even more health - I ran with one the other day at 36k health.
My healer is a druid so I cannot really comment on shaman healing but I think you should be looking for at least 1400 spellpower.
You also need to be aware of some of the poisons etc - they can do some horrible damage in heroics so need to be cleared as soon as possible.

Guilds / Twilight Rising / Re: It's almost time....

Well done Rim - we pre-ordered a little while ago too. So when we got an email earlier this week saying they had dispatched 1 copy and the other was to follow you can imagine the tension.
Fortunately they have since advised the other is on the way - and sadly I am working away from home til latish on Friday so will just have to wait til I get back.
My thinking on the start areas is that most will simply get the portal from Shatt to SW and then jump on a boat so that area is likely to be the busiest. You reach Howling Fjord from Menethil.

My gut feel is that Howling Fjord is likely to be quieter as a start zone so we will be heading off there - though Xzara may just have to collect her rhino first . . .
