I tried that quest again last night, worked a treat.  So you can put the knives away 

I'm actually finding that leveling prot is much much better than it was with BC.

Sure things don't die just as quick as I'd like but it's handy when there are
only a few of the mobs you need, in an area that is heavily populated, to be able to grab them all & be reasonably confident you can finish em off before they finish you. 

Sure it's gonna be slower to level, but I'm not in any rush.

I have to say that my expectations were also that it'd be very like BC.  How wrong I was, I don't think I've ever had as much trouble logging out of a game. 

The scenery just blew me away, and what little questing I've done so far had me laughing my leg off and (I didn't think I'd ever say this) wanting to do more quests.  For me the game has always been about grouping, but last night I found myself happily questing away on my lonesome.

I also opted for Howling Fjords as guild chat was indicating that Boran Tundra was just a tad busy.

Blizz have really outdone themselves with this one!!

After reading this post I thought to myself "must go check the status of my Amazon pre-ordered LK".  Went to track-my-shit & found I'd no shit-to-track !!   

Panic mode set in, started typing a VERY strongly worded email to them, was about to send and received an "it's ok tin head, your shit has been dispatched".

Relax, think calm thoughts......

Think I'm gonna try do several runs of the early instance, as I'll be leveling prot, I'd like to have at least one lvl advantage on mobs, don't think I could stand the "oh just die already" I experienced leveling 60-70 prot.

Howling Fjord as start area, that's where the SW boat goes right?

Not sure about the 4% though, might not be as high as that in my case.

Really liked the way he nominated a Bumpy (sorry mage) as the example there too :-)
