We're considering releasing a podcast covering the latest and greatest news, reviews and information for your favourite game combined with the unique LanCraft sense of humour.

We'd be interested in knowing what you'd like to see in such a feature.

Suggestion - can people brainstorm some ideas here.   I think that being an audio podcast (presumably) is quite a challenge for something like WoW where pictures and video would help.   So, what would people like to get in a podcast?

Some ideas:
Battleground descriptions/tactics
Boss Strategies
Role-Play stories
Interviews with developers
Interviews with guild leaders/officers/members
Jokes/funny WoW stories
Reviews from Beta testers of WOTLK

I guess my main question would be this - what does a podcast give you that a forum doesn't?

I think the plus is portability but the negatives are that an audio-only podcast isn't multi-media (it's uni-media I guess) and that restricts its usefulness.

Not wanting to be negative - I think it's a good idea but it needs a bit more flesh on the bones IMHO.   Feel free to tell me to go and stick my Honest Opinions Wink

thats a good point there mate, but i still think a podcast is a great idea.

The good thing about podcasts is the social aspect of hearing your raiding buddys talking about different things and could also be quite funny, forums are still good.
Adding sound effects, and just general fun, it will never replace a forum but a podcast will be a nice alternative.
I for one would like to hear some of Daals Jokes live :p
