Hit first, hit hard - Steele

If you enjoy PvP like I do, particularly AV (when it’s at least played properly) then you know that AV is still far from being perfect.  It’s still pretty much a race to the end, hoping someone caps the towers enroute and then kill the boss.

The latest changes Blizz made were very good and improved things, but I think I have the killer suggestion.

You remove the ability to destroy a tower and make them like those found in Eye of the Storm.

This would give a total of 8 towers which would then be linked to the NPC's in the game including bosses.

Each tower you control (as opposed to destroy) strengthens ALL friendly NPC’s (including those on towers/bunkers) and weakens the enemy NPC’s.

This would force the issue of tower capture / defence, even before you attempt Galv or Belinda.  It would make taking grayeyards much more difficult until you’d taken control of a few enemy towers/bunkers.

Of course this could lead to much longer AV’s and lots of things would need balancing such as the strength of the NPC’s and the number of reinforcements required to win.

But if the honour gained was worth it and it was awarded during the fighting instead of at the end (so if you only had 15 mins spare, you could still go in and get about 500 honour) I would welcome 4 hour AV’s once more.

How would you improve AV given the chance?
