CS was more than a game for most who played it back in the day, it was a way of life which set the standard for every team based FPS game.  Nothing will ever replace the feeling of playing a competitive clan game in a semi-pro league and that's fact.

Due to the last man standing mechanics, the game had this unique way of actually making you fear for your virtual life and feel regret and remorse when a clan mate fell.

FoM is by far the best online console FPS game I've played and you can include any flavour of Halo in that statement Smiley

Nice to hear some advocators of RFoM Smiley I haven't actually had the time to try it online yet but with Daal's statement I just might make some time for just that purpose.

I wanted to dl crysis but i keep forgetting to, i log on the computer and WoW and a game called warrock sucks me in and its like being chained to your seat. I can run crysis but not all the way up =[=[=[ Assasins creed is what im waiting for. my specs:
2ghz amd64x2
1g ram
radeon ati x1650 pro

Before WoW, I was a huge FpS fan.

I have the half-life collection, but don't actually play it much. 

There was a point where my friends and I would live and die by Battlefield.  Again, I have the full series (Battlefield 1942, Vietnam, 2, 2142)  The graphics have improved dramaticly through the series.  Battlefied 2 and 2142 are both graphicly demanding.  Rag-doll effects are much better too. 

The Medal of Honor series is also very good.

I have a few "scarry" games that I'll only play at night.  (so much better that way)  Doom 3, F.E.A.R., The Suffering
- Doom is awesome.  My bro walked down the hall and said "hey"...I nearly crapped myself.  Tongue
- F.E.A.R. is pretty creepy.  There is this little girl that pops out randomly and vanishes.  Mobs to the same.  Really errie...
- Haven't played The Suffering much, but heard it's really good too.

Being a bit of a gear head (putting it lightly) I am also a fan of the Need for Speed series...all of those too.  Some of the older ones are cheezy, but running and smashing into cops (bobbies?) is always fun.  Smiley

Oh, if you like scary games you must've tried Silent Hill I presume Falensicknes? Smiley If you haven't it is a must. The SH-series is THE best horror games you'll ever play. Period.

Definately.  As I say I'm not an FPS fan at all, but I love RFoM and quite often play it online.

FPS games on consoles are very difficult to get right - I have only ever played 2 that I have thought worked.  The best by far is RFoM.  The other one was Fire Warrior (based in the Warhammer 40,000 universe) on the PS2 - cracking game that has since been released on PC.

As for Silent Hill, if you're into your horror games I would definately agree. I played the first one on the PS1 and was scared out of my mind!  I don't dare play any of the newer ones! Wink

I'm hooked on Unreal Tournament 3 at the moment! It's not out until the 22nd, but damn even the BETA is sweet! Go into google and type UT3 BETA and you can download straight away! I love the fast pace game action, all take a try Cheesy

Yeah I have to say that's another (one of many unfortunately) game on the PS3 I really wouldn't mind buying... but I'm not allowing myself to get them!

My computer is getting old so im just trying to get by on wow until something comes along better (Warhammer).

For everything else i play xbox 360.

I have Halo 3 and Rainbow Six Las Vegas, plus i constantly rent games. If anyone wants to get some H3 or other games in, my name on 360 is Dagreaser504
