I'd heard of this but not looked into it, how you finding it?

I haven't actually gotten the time to buy it yet but as far as I can see from the trailers and what not it seems really cool.

Well I've rented CoD4 and Assassins creed for the 360 (wanted them on PS3 but they were out!).

Assassins Creed looks ok, very pretty and some clever stuff but I've never really been a fan of third person games and this does nothing to alter my perception.

Call of Duty 4 is remarkable and I think it will be my next purchase.  Love the visuals and atmosphere and was very pleasantly surprised on how good it was considering how poor CoD3 was.  Managed to do the SAS run in 30 seconds on first go but think I can lower it to about 20 if I get the chance Smiley

I love how they've taken the way Fall of Man handles it's online stuff and taken the best bits.  The multiplayer is awesome and worth the £44 on it's own!

If you havent played Mass Effect, DO IT NOW!!!

It is by far the best 360 game ive ever played, and its soo immense that you will play 8 hours and feel like you havent even scratched the surface.  Not only is it a shooter, but its a rpg unlike anything you have ever played. Its story is kinda like oblivion, the "you can do whatever you want" playstyle that will have you wondering what would have happened if you made the opposite choice in any situation.

I would recommend everyone to try it, even if you dont like shooters or rpgs.

Tis on my list Smiley

CoD4 online got a little tiresome last night....  The higher ranking players get access to higher power weapons - meaning they kill you easier.  Makes levelling tough I think.

yea i heard that about COD4, the comp can do some wacked snipes too - think i'll just give all the FPS a missing this year as UT2K7 isnt sounding too great either. Think i might get the new company of heroes which is a WWII stratergy (kind of). Nothing out at the moment really inspires to be honest.

I'm dusting this thing off in hopes of getting some new suggestions in here.

I for one recently got a hold of MGS4 for my PS3 and I must express my amazement to how incredibly beautiful this game is. Kojima games never ceases to amaze me.
The feel, the look, the sounds - everything clicks! If you get a chance you must try it.

So, what else is new?

I have COD4 on the xbox 360.  gamertag: SH4RP5HOOT3R 9th lvl prestige.  Its ok but played it aslong as I have it loses its sense of excitement but its ok every now and then.

ON topic now is anyone excited about Gears Of War 2.  I loved the first one and the second one looks amazing.

I think I'm one of the few that didn't enjoy GoW.  It started ok but then I lost interest Sad

Yeah I've also been aware of the excitement around GoW 2. I did acutally try and play the first GoW but as I kept crashing I gave up hope.

Maybe it's time for an upgrade?

Anywho, how about Starcraft 2? Any old rts nerds out there?
