Both server types have their advantages and disadvantages, and most players tend to stick to one or the other.

Which you do prefer, PvE "Care-Bear" servers or PvP "Gank-fest" servers?

Personally, I selected a RP PvE server as I hoped for better Roleplay (it didn't work out that way unfortunately), but mainly because I think PvP in WoW is very poorly implemented - and more so in PvP servers where you can't "opt out" and due to the ganking it's harder (and in some cases impossible) to level solo.

i like both due to the fact that it depends what mood im in when i start the character, if i dont wana get ganked then i go  PvE but if i dont care then PvP is the way, cos you can gain some easy honor points by killing the odd alliance or horde as your traveling through the levels.

I have tryed both (well all four to be honest) and I found being gankked at low levels on a PVP server was the worsed thing about the game!

SO after trying and dieing I went back to PVE and am happy there!

The worsed part is the escourt quests in a PVP realm. I was Noobed somthing manic!

i personly like pvp servers
especialy the battle of the barrens
it all started when a army of alliance came from ratchet and stone talon
stonetalon was easy for the Alliance but we would NEVER give up the barrens.I was Commander of it all me  deathmacine the unstoppable.
i dont want a huge thingbut if ya wanna know more tell me
