Belive EJ put the combat Sword rogue at up to 3% better than the combat dagger rogue. Don`t sound like to much, but it really is a whole lot, when you speak of 100 000s of dmg.

Crit > AP for daggers.  That is way true.  You are all burst damage, which means you will way out pace a sword or combat rogue at the start of the fight.  Versus mobs you rule, minus blade flurry of course, but when raid bosses come in your dps drops off by alot.

I am guessing you are using a general "you" here Inkeyes, not directed at me personally As what you describe is partly ShS rogues experience. I happen to be a combat dagger rogue, and my experience vs combat sword rogues is that sword beats in fights vs mobs, due to easier positioning. While on a boss fight the playing field is more even, Getting more in the realm of skill than mechanics.

Yes +hit = white dmg =50-60% of a combat rogues damage done in a raid. Hitting 300 pre 25 BT and Myjal, well that requires commitment, and I suspect the sacrifices made to reach it might not lead to a noticable increase in f.eks Karazhan compared to other gear. Speaking past 250-280 in +hit here.
