Ive now ordered my pc so thanks again for the help guys.  I decided against an SLI configuration for various reasons.

A novel idea from a colleague though is to install 2 20gig RAPTORS at 12000rpm and have them on a RAID array containing ONLY the O/S. Apparently his pc boots up before his montors have had time to power up lol.

Why do with 12000 rpm when you can have brand new 15000 rpm drives?

Because theyre brand new and I havent heard of them :-P

Its only an idea, I'll see how well my system runs when it gets here. Im guessing it will be more than fine for the time being.

15000, wheres it all going to end? They now do 300GB models as well!
