Misdirection is the new hunter ability that you get at level 70.  This simple guide will show you how to produce a simple macro that will help use the ability in conjunction with your pet.

I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with this idea, but since hitting level 70, this is the most important macro I use when soloing.

Misdirection for those of you that don't know when activated will transfer the aggro from the hunters next three shots to the chosen target.  This macro is a quick way to pass this aggro direct to your pet.  It can be used either as an opener, or when I find it most useful is if your pet looses aggro after a big crit.  Seems to work really well.

Essentially, it quickly targets your pet, casts misdirection and then switches back to your pet's target:

/target pet
/cast misdirection
/assist pet

Simple, but very effective.
